Work experience:

Arun commenced his career with MRF Limited (1991–2007), then with Omnex – Asia Pacific Rim (Principal Consultant, 2007–2014), further with Apollo Tyres Limited as Head Business Excellence & Quality Assurance at their Chennai Plant, (2014–2018). From April 2018 onwards, he is associated with Omnex - India, Omnex Dubai International FZ LLC & Omnex OQA – Thailand, as Regional Technical Head-Asia Pacific rim.

Academia:

Arun’s academia includes MBA in Total Quality Management, MBA in Project Management, Post Graduation certification on Rubber Technology from Lanxess and Bachelor of Science from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.

Significant career achievements:

During his career, he lead over 125+ management system projects when with Omnex, across various industry, to name few Automotive OEM and Automotive & Aviation Component , Medical devices, Dealerships, Steel, Tyre, Rubber & Plastic, Hospitals, Health Care Providers, Banks, Tele-communication, Jewelry, Hotels & Resorts, Testing laboratories. He is a Lead Auditor - Training Provider & Examiner (T-PECS) recognized by Exemplar Global, USA and qualified over 950 executives as certified Lead Auditors in various ISO / Sector specific standards and Exemplar Global T-PECS / CQI / IRCA competencies.

During Arun’s tenure with Apollo Tyres - Chennai Plant as Head Business Excellence & Quality Assurance, he lead a team associated with Customer Interface, QA Engineering, QA Audits and Integrated Management Systems. He was the authorized customer representative for all Automotive OEM across nation & Europe. Business Excellence function under him lead the TQM and Deming journey. During his tenure, the site was re-certified based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 50001:2018, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, IATF 16949:2016, ISO/IEC 17025 for Indoor Testing Centre, Ford Q1, Volkswagen A rating and many national & international Product certifications
